Our children of Margaya Church Maharagama – Zion Sunday School had a fantastic time visiting Seethawaka Miracle Nature Resort to celebrate Children’s Day!
It was a beautiful day filled with laughter, joy, fun, and unforgettable memories. Seeing our children smile, play, and enjoy every moment made this day truly special.

What a blessed and joyful Children’s Day celebration
Our Zion Sunday School children took an active part in the church service, serving with love and confidence through prayers, Bible reading, offering, and a special hymn. It was truly wonderful to see our children using their gifts to serve the Lord. 🙏✨
Our Sunday School teachers also blessed the children with a beautiful song. 🎶
We were especially blessed by the inspiring message shared by our Senior Pastor’s wife, Sister Deepthi, reminding us of the importance of guiding our children in God’s ways.

UNP’s 80th Anniversary with Religious Blessings
The United National Party (UNP), one of Sri Lanka’s oldest political movements, celebrated its 80th anniversary on 6th September 2026 at its head office, Sirikotha, under the patronage of party leader and former President Ranil Wickremesinghe. Rev. Ravi de Silva also joined the occasion as a religious representative, offering blessings and spiritual presence at the event.

Baby Dedication
This morning, during our Sunday service, we rejoice together as we dedicate this precious child to the Lord. Baby dedication is a beautiful act of faith where parents, family, and the church community commit to guiding this child in God’s love and truth.
As a congregation, we stand with the family, promising to support, encourage, and pray for them as they raise their child in the ways of Christ.

Four unforgettable days at Hatton Green Hills Retreat Centre brought together faith, fun, and fellowship in the most inspiring way. We were spiritually empowered through uplifting sessions, enjoyed laughter and excitement with games, and built lasting bonds through heartfelt fellowship.
It was more than just a camp — it was a time of renewal, joy, and unity. Truly, a camp to remember!

Mother’s Day Celebration in Worship
On this blessed Sunday, we gathered in worship to receive the spiritual word. In the midst of service, we joyfully celebrated Mother’s Day. Our Sunday School children expressed heartfelt appreciation to all mothers, and Pastor offered a prayer of blessing over them.
Proverbs 31:28 – “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.”
